How to change your appearance in Starfield

Is there a way to change your appearance in Starfield?

If, after the extensive Starfield character creator, you still don’t like what your character looks like, the good news is that you can change your appearance. You can change your face shape, body type, hair, and everything even after the initial character creator. Here’s how to change your appearance in Starfield without having to start a new character.

The only way to change your appearance in Starfield is to go to Enhance! — yeah it’s spelled with an exclamation mark. Enhance! is a shop that allows you to change every single physical part of your character in Starfield, but know that you can’t change your Background or Traits here.

Where to find Enhance! shops in Starfield

Enhance! can be found in every major city in Starfield. New Atlantis, Neon, and Akila all have Enhance! shops in them. I’ve had luck finding the Enhance! shops near the entrance of every major city.

Right when you walk through the main entry of Akila, turn left to find the Enhance! shop. The Neon Enhance! shop is found in the main city strip and is easy to find thanks to all the neon signs and lights. I’ve found an Enhance! shop in New Atlantis in the town center behind the metro station and The Lodge.

While these are the easiest Enhance! shops to find, I’ve also found Enhance! shops in smaller cities like Cydonia on Mars. In fact, that’s where I found my first Enhance! shop. Starfield is absolutely massive, featuring hundreds of towns throughout the stars, so you can find an Enhance! shop at just about any named town.

Of course, using Enhance! will cost some credits, but it’s worth it to recreate the character of your dreams. In my experience, there have been medical centers nearby Enhance! shops which is where you can get rid of some unfavorable Traits like Spaced.
