How to complete Stadium Love in Cyberpunk 2077

Shooting under the influence.

As with any half-decent RPG, Cyberpunk 2077 has a large swathe of random encounters you can get involved in. They range from the essential to the completely inane. However, the Stadium Love side mission is well worth completing in Cyberpunk 2077. This is a tricky mission that will test your sleight of hand, drinking skills, and aim.

To find the mission, you need to head into the hills of Night City. Look in Rancho Coronando in Santo Domingo and find a mission on the top of a building. Here you will meet Captain Sherman and the 6th Street gang having a good party. Chat to Sherman, be polite, and you can join in the revelry. However, after a few drinks, Sherman will challenge you to beat his score on the shooting range, with a catch.

How to beat Shermans’ score

Now, it isn’t as simple as just shooting the targets in Stadium Love. You need to take a shot after each round, use the pistol provided, and stay behind the yellow line. If you can do all these things and beat Shermans’ very impressive score of 44, you get a prize.

There are only 12 seconds to kill all 12 targets. This does not leave enough time for a reload. If you fail to hit even one, simply start the mission again. You cannot save during the mission either, so make sure you aim true.

There is no easy way to actually complete the Stadium Love mission. You really just need to ‘Git Gud.’ You need to be fast, precise, and a good drunk shot. If you succeed, you will be awarded the Divided We Stand Smart Assault Rifle, which I ended up using for a very long time.

You can also simply kill Captain Sherman and all his merry men to get the gun, but this isn’t very sporting of you, and you will miss out on all the XP.
