How to complete the History of the Shattered Keep side quest in Atlas Fallen

We are the Knights who say... Ni!

Are you wondering where all five clues about the Keep locations in Atlas Fallen are so you can get the Scout’s Gear armor? While finding the Unearth Piece and the Enhanced Raise Shards at the Shattered Keep, you may come across Lector, who will give you the History of the Shattered Keep side quest. During this quest, you will be tasked with finding five clues about the Keep, so she can learn more about the Knights that once inhabited the Shattered Keep. However, the game gives you general locations of the clues, but they are well hidden. Here is an easy-to-follow guide on completing the History of the Shattered Keep side quest in Atlas Fallen so you don’t waste time searching for all five clues about the Keep locations.

When searching for clues about the Keep, you need to be on the lookout for four golden books and one Knight corpse. These locations will be found within the circles given to you on your map. However, they are very well hidden and on different heights, making them tricky to find.

Clues about the Keep one

You will find the History of the Shattered Keep clue one sitting on the dirt, as shown in the picture above. The best way to get here is to head east from Lector and drop on the ground. Keep going east to the marked location, and you will find it.

Clues about the Keep two

The History of the Shattered Keep clue behind the guard tower is shown on the map above. You will get here naturally when completing the Sealing Totem puzzle.

Clues about the Keep three

You will find the History of the Shattered Keep clue three on a platform next to a golden pot. The best way to reach this clue is to climb as high as possible to the raised platforms (the ones you must use when completing the Sealing Totem puzzle). From here, you need to drop down about halfway to the platform shown above.

You will find the History of the Shattered Keep clue four in the back of the Shattered Keep northwest of Lector. There are a couple of ways to reach it, but I found it best to climb the big stone sword to the platform above and then drop down to the above location.

Clues about the Keep five

You will find the History of the Shattered Keep clue five in the west section of the Shattered Keep. You must loot a Knight corpse on the ground at the marked location on the map above.

After you collect all five clues of the Keep for the History of the Shattered Keep quest, it will tell you to return to the researcher. However, this isn’t the researcher down by the Cathedral. Instead, you need to return to Lector and turn in the quest. I’m not sure why they didn’t say return to Lector, but that is what you must do.

Scout's Gear Atlas Fallen

As a reward for completing the History of the Shattered Keep side quest in Atlas Fallen, you will be given the Scout’s Gear armor, which can be upgraded to level 6. In addition, the Scout’s Gear armor also has a +3 Offence if you equip two Momentum Essence Stones. This armor is powerful until you reach the game’s second level, making it worth obtaining and upgrading, especially with an offensive build.
