What is a Land Mine in Lethal Company
As the name explains, Land Mines will blow you to pieces if detonated. They are disk-like and will have red and green lights on top. These are found inside the moon’s facilities. However, due to their size and color, most of them in Lethal Company can be seen from a distance. You can also walk past most of these landmines by carefully avoiding their contact.
How to disable Land Mine in Lethal Company
Just like turning off a turret, Land Mines in Lethal Company can also be disabled using the terminal commands on your ship. However, you must have a walkie-talkie in hand and a crewmate with you. If you step on a landmine, tell a crewmate back at the ship to open the Terminal and put the code of the landmine that needs to be disabled.
The player on the ship can see the codes for each item on the ship’s radar screen. However, the Land Mine will only be disabled for five seconds after inputting the code. Each code will include a letter and a digit. So, while the mine is disabled, you must cross the mine to avoid getting blown away.
However, prevention is always better than cure, so rather than disabling each landmine, it is better to stay aware of these deadly traps. You will hear a clicking noise if you somehow step on a Land Mind. The most foolish thing you can do is run away. Land Mines in Lethal Company are pressure sensitive, so they won’t blow if you step on them. Rather, they will blow if you step off of them. So, if you have stepped into one, tell your crewmate to go to the ship and disable the mine you are standing on.
