They are crawlers with four legs and a very big mouth. Spore Lizards are very large which makes them look very scary as an opponent. However, these creatures are completely harmless and will not attack you unless they have a very specific reason.
Spore Lizards are typically terrified by the mere presence of a human. So if you ever encounter them, you will find them running away before you can even observe them. Moreover, their loud hissing and screeching sound before running away can also make them look like terrifying creatures. But there is nothing to be afraid of, as this creature will not attack you unless you provoke it. However, if you ever corner a Spore Lizard and try to kill it, it will take the help of a certain self-defense mechanism which might take away some HP from you.

As mentioned before, Spore Lizards are peace-loving creatures who just wander around different locations inside the facilities. The Spore Lizard will run away from the location while your vision stays blocked.
Although you can kill these creatures by hitting them 3-4 times with a shovel, that seems unnecessary as they are not doing any harm to you. However, if you try to kill them, they will react and bite you, taking up a very small amount of health from your bar. So the best way to deal with the Spore Lizards is to let them stay in their place by themselves.
