Every masterpiece needs to come down.

Apart from the new skins, you can get in Lego Fortnite, there are a ton of gameplay mechanics that are exclusive to this mode. You can create quite a bit as well depending on the resources. Things you can make are building, but like most crafting simulators, you can bring them down. For LEGO Fortnite, to delete buildings isn’t as straightforward, but we’ll show how to do it.

Lego Fortnite: How to delete buildings

You can’t delete buildings, but you can just deconstruct them to remove the building altogether.

First, you have to craft a pickaxe that needs five wood to create. This is easy to do since there’s tons of wood lying around. Next, assuming you’ve created a crafting station and you got the recipe for the Pickaxe, you can create the tool.

Head to the building you want to destroy and press E over each section. When you do that specific, part will be destroyed. So if you want to get rid of the entire structure, interact with all parts of the building.

Note that the Pickaxe has health. I’ve broken axes midway, so keep your eye on that gauge as you break things down.

You’ll not only make space but also get resources back depending on what it’s material. For example, if you take down a wall you may get granite back.

What’s the point of deleting buildings?

Even with the massive world of Lego Minecraft, you can create space and organize yourself better. On top of that, as mentioned, you get resources back. If you’re near none or need a certain amount from a specific resource like wood, taking down buildings is the fastest and easiest way to do it.
