Like any good game, MW3 has its fair share of exploitable glitches. The Tombstone glitch in Modern Warfare Zombies will allow you to repeatedly get as much Essence as you want simply by dying over and over again.
Having an infinite amount of Essence means that you can head to the mystery box and reroll as many times as you need. This will drastically improve your chances of getting legendary weapons.
How to exploit the Tombstone infinite essence glitch
To start off, you’ll want to head into a Modern Warfare Zombies match. You can do this with friends or alone; it doesn’t really matter. Once you’re in, start collecting as much essence as you possibly can from zombies. Compete missions, contracts, and bosses to get your essence up.
Once you have collected together a big pocketful of essence, head to the tombstone perk. If you are able to craft one, make sure you have brought it in with you. Drink the tombstone perk to start your infinite essence glitch in Modern Warfare Zombies.
Ensure you don’t have a self-revive equipped and empty everything from your backpack. Head to the tier-one zone and let the zombies kill you. Do not self-revive, and make sure you let the timer run down. If you are playing with friends, make sure they don’t revive you either. You will die, leaving behind the tombstone.
Now, simply load into Modern Warfare Zombies again and head to your tombstone to collect your essence. Make sure you don’t kill any zombies or pick anything up along the way. This will mess with the essence glitch. Simply visit your tombstone, and you will find that the essence you left behind is doubled.
You can rinse and repeat this technique over and over again to constantly double your essence in Modern Warfare Zombies using the Tombstone glitch. I am sure that the team at Activision will eventually patch it, but for now, get your essence while you can.
