Since it’s a rare forgeable you can only find during the Spring season, many players aren’t having much luck trying to spot it. Let me explain where you can find Wasabi.

Coral Island: Where to find Wasabi

If you’re looking to fix up the Lake Temple, you’ll need to find Wasabi, which can be frustrating when it’s pretty rare. This light-green forgeable is also great for selling, so where can you find it? How you find Wasabi in Coral Island is by exploring locations such as the Forest, Woodlands, Garden Lane, or the area between your farm and the Beach.

Although the Wasabi plant can appear in quite a number of areas, you’ll be hard-pressed to spot it. Rarely, you can find it in trash cans only during the springtime as well. Whenever you see this plant, take it, because it won’t appear again till next Spring.

Not only can you sell it and use it at the Lake Temple, but it’s needed to create certain food recipes. For example, both Sashimi and Wasabi Paste require Wasabi.

During Spring, simply take a nice walk around these three areas when you’re free, and try to spot that green plant sticking out of the ground. It’s got three leaves, and it sticks out like a sore thumb, you can’t miss it.

One other way to get Wasabi is in the mail from Paul. Although he’s not one of the romance options in Coral Island, you can still befriend him. If you have two or more hearts with him, he may send you Wasabi in the mail during the Spring season.

For another tip, after doing some research I found that some players believe that Wasabi will have better luck spawning after a day of rain. I’m not sure why this is, but it’s good to look around after a rainy day.
