However, there’s a new one that stops players from entering the Acquisitions Center. To learn how to fix the Acquisitions Error in Helldivers 2, use this guide.

Helldivers 2: How to fix the Acquisitions error

I thought this problem was not that big until it hit me the last time I played. It can throw you off when you have bought a powerful gun or a new piece of gear, and you can’t equip it. Thankfully, after digging around the web I’ve found some solutions that could work.

There’s more than one to fix the game. Maybe one day Arrowhead Games Studios will add it to its ever-growing list of issues.

  • Closing the game is usually the first and only resolution you need. By restarting Helldivers 2, the problem could go away on its own. Once you’re back in the game try heading into the Acquisition Center from there. If not, the methods below might work as well.
  • Verify the game files on Steam. If this is done, the game has all its corrupted files fixed. Before uninstalling the game, do this first. To verify Helldivers 2, find it in your library on Steam. Right-click the game, and from the drop-down menu press Properties. In the new window, navigate to the Installed Files option on the left-hand bar. It’ll be the third option. Once you’re in this submenu, go down to the last option. It’ll say Verify this game’s files are installed correctly, press the button on the right of it. Fortunately, Helldivers 2 isn’t that big of a game, so this process shouldn’t take longer than a few minutes.
  • This final method seems to have more success than the two above and is easier on your end. According to this Reddit post, if you go into Helldivers 2’s gameplay menu when you’re on the ship, toggle the matchmaking to friends. Save the setting, and head into a match solo only. Complete the mission and head back to your ship. When you’re on your, the Acquisition Centre should be available now.

If these solutions don’t work at all, you sadly may have to wait for Arrowhead Games Studios to patch it themselves. The wait shouldn’t be long since the developers are currently going into overdrive to fix all the problems. Hopefully, this is one of them.

While getting into the Acquisition Centre may be a headache, launching Helldivers 2 from Steam is also an issue. I had that problem, but this guide got me through those dark moments. It could help you as well.
