Avatar Frontiers of Pandora: How to get superior or exquisite resources
I came upon a side quest that asked me to gather an exquisite or superior Shell Fruit and Crimson Mushroom, but every time I picked one, it was just fine. This was strange to me since I made sure I picked it right and it was in the right environmental condition. You can get superior or exquisite materials in Avatar Frontiers of Pandora by searching for rarer types using the Hunter’s Guide or reducing the pollution levels.
I was initially unsure of how exactly the pollution levels affected the quality of nearby resources. I believe that lowering pollution levels by taking over RDA bases can help increase the quality of collecting resources, but that’s not the easiest way to get superior or exquisite materials, such as moss.

The best way to find the highest-quality resources is to check your Hunter’s Guide and look for entries speaking about rarer types. For example, in this image above, you can see where you can find most Coronis Eggs. But the second entry talks about rarer nests, which will always have superior or exquisite types of that material.
The same goes for if you’re hunting wildlife. Not all entries show rarer types, but some will tell you where you can find higher-quality wildlife. You’ll need to look at your map and track down the locations specified.
You can check the material’s quality before you even harvest it. Just look at it with your Na’vi vision first. Not only will it tell you the resources you can collect from it, but if they have a pink or gold circle, that means they’re superior or exquisite quality.
