What is Abstruse Sigil in Diablo 4?

In Diablo 4, Abstruse Sigil is a rare crafting material you can only get from salvaging Legendary rings and amulets. It’s ironic that you need Abstruse Sigils to upgrade your rings and amulets at a Jeweler since you need to go to a Blacksmith and salvage your orange rings and amulets to get Abstruse Sigil.

Also, salvaging your Legendary rings and amulets is a hard choice to make. If you decide to extract their Aspects, you can’t also choose to salvage. This means that you need to choose to salvage a ring or amulet with an Aspect tied to it, since all Legendary gear have Aspects imprinted onto them.

Diablo 4: How to farm Abstruse Sigil

To farm Abstruse Sigils in Diablo 4, you need to collect Legendary rings and amulets and salvage them. That is currently the only way to get Abstruse Sigils.

Since Abstruse Sigils are required to upgrade your rings and amulets, the best way to get Abstruse Sigils fast in Diablo 4 is by completing world events and beating bosses.

Legendary rings and amulets drop at a frequency similar to every other item — it’s all based on RNG. Because of that, there is no true farm for Legendary amulets and rings, and therefore Abstruse Sigils.

Hopefully, you find a lot of Legendary rings and amulets, and hopefully those Legendary rings and amulets aren’t ones you want to keep and upgrade. It’s a cruel system, getting Abstruse Sigils, but at least you don’t have to pay Platinum for them.
