How to get and farm Crystal Solvent in Wuthering Waves

Bypass the daily Waveplate limit with Crystal Solvent.

Waveplates are the main form of energy in Wuthering Waves, and you need to spend them to claim upgrade materials for your Resonators and equipment. You only have so many to spend each day, however, and you’ll need to use a rare resource called Crystal Solvent to get more than the standard daily allotment.

As long as you’re smart about the first few hours of your Wuthering Waves playthrough, you can save up a decent-sized stash of Crystal Solvent for the hardcore endgame grind that rears its head at higher Union Levels. Even if you’re completely out, though, there are still ways to get more so you can continue grinding for enhancement materials in Wuthering Waves.

How to Get More Crystal Solvent in Wuthering Waves

There are three main ways to get Crystal Solvent in Wuthering Waves, and each method is quite time-consuming. If you want to restore your Waveplates to claim more upgrade materials in Wuthering Waves, try these methods.

Union Level Rewards

The first and easiest way to get Crystal Solvent is to increase your Union Level by playing through the main Wuthering Waves story and completing activities. As a part of the Awakening Journey event, all Wuthering Waves players will receive packages with Crystal Solvent and other rewards as they level up.

  • Level 5: Lustrous Tide x5, Astrite x200
  • Level 15: Lustrous Tide x5, Astrite x400
  • Level 25: Lustrous Tide x15, Crystal Solvent x2
  • Level 35: Lustrous Tide x15, Crystal Solvent x4
  • Level 45: 5-Star Weapon Supply Chest x1, Astrite x1,000

Data Bank Rewards

The other easiest method to obtain Crystal Solvent in Wuthering Waves is increasing your Data Bank level by absorbing Echoes. In addition to increasing your maximum stamina level, you can earn some Crystal Solvent by reaching certain Data Bank level milestones.

  • Data Bank Level 1: Crystal Solvent x2
  • Data Bank Level 5: Crystal Solvent x2
  • Data Bank Level 8: Crystal Solvent x2
  • Data Bank Level 15: Crystal Solvent x2

Remember that only unique Echoes reward Data Bank EXP, so you’ll need to seek out new Echo types and rarities to level up. Your Data Bank progress is also locked behind your Union Level, too, so you’ll need to complete other activities before you can reach higher levels.

Pioneer Podcast Rewards

Finally, the last way to get Crystal Solvent in Wuthering Waves is to level up your Pioneer Podcast Battle Pass. The free and paid reward tracks of the Wuthering Waves Battle Pass contain Crystal Solvent, but paying for the premium Pioneer Podcast track will get you more of them. These are the rewards on offer if you have the premium Battle Pass in Wuthering Waves.

  • Pioneer Podcast Level 5: Crystal Solvent x2
  • Pioneer Podcast Level 10: Crystal Solvent x1
  • Pioneer Podcast Level 15: Crystal Solvent x2
  • Pioneer Podcast Level 20: Crystal Solvent x1
  • Pioneer Podcast Level 25: Crystal Solvent x2
  • Pioneer Podcast Level 35: Crystal Solvent x2
  • Pioneer Podcast Level 45: Crystal Solvent x2

There aren’t too many ways to stock up on Crystal Solvent in Wuthering Waves, so save as many as you can for the right opportunity. As the game progresses, there will likely be more ways to obtain them, but for now, the offerings are slim. If you want to level up your favorite 5-star Resonators like Calcharo or Verina, you’ll need to plan accordingly.
