How to get clothes in Palworld

Dress for success

The world of Palworld is a dangerous place, and your starting outfit won’t protect you forever. While you don’t begin the game completely naked as you would in other survival games like Ark, you’ll still need to craft new clothes to survive in Palworld.

There isn’t a huge amount of customization when it comes to outfits in Palworld, but the few clothing items that you can craft look pretty good. They’ll also protect you from the elements, letting you explore the harsher climates of Palworld without having to worry about safety. Here’s how to get a new outfit in Palworld.

How to Unlock Clothes in Palworld

Like most things in Palworld, clothes are unlocked via Technology Points. The first outfit that you can craft is the Cloth Outfit, which is located on the fourth tier of the Technology tree. It requires two Technology Points to unlock, but you’re flooded with new Technology Points at every turn during the opening hours of the game so you shouldn’t have a hard time unlocking it.

You’ll also need to unlock the crafting recipe for Cloth because (surprise surprise) the Cloth Outfit requires Cloth as the main crafting ingredient. Cloth only costs one Technology Point and it’s located on the third tier of the Technology tree, so you can get it before the Cloth Outfit recipe.

Once you’ve unlocked the recipe for the Cloth Outfit, just head to a Primitive Workbench and you’ll be able to craft it with just two pieces of Cloth. If you don’t have any Cloth, it’s easy to get some. First, just kill some Lamballs for their Wool. You can then use that Wool to craft Cloth at a Primitive Workbench. The Cloth Outfit is just one piece of clothing, so you don’t have to craft every piece individually. Only two Cloth pieces are required for the whole set!

As you progress through Palworld, you’ll unlock new clothing recipes throughout the Technology tree. You’ll need a ton of materials to craft the best gear, however, but you can make use of the recently discovered Palworld duplication glitch to make things a bit easier.
