Dragon Krystals, alongside Koins and Seasonal Kredits, is one of the currencies available in Mortal Kombat 1. As you can imagine, these currencies will grant you the ability to purchase certain cosmetic items from the in-game shop. Contrary to the Koins and Seasonal Kredits, Dragon Krystals are not obtainable through any in-game activity. You will need to either have the Premium Edition of MK1 to have a bunch of these Dragon Krystals, or you will have to purchase them using real money.

They come in batches of 500, 1000, 2000, and 4000 and their cost will vary depending on your region. The bigger the bundle, the more free Dragon Krystals you will receive. It is no surprise that the most popular and time-limited Premium Items are only purchaseable by using Dragon Krystals, aka real money.

So, if you find a very good skin or piece of equipment for one of the game’s characters, go ahead and spend your Dragon Krystals (or input your card numbers). To be honest, the Dia de Muertos Sub-Zero looks really good. Make sure to check the store every time it refreshes to see what NetherRealm offers. If you are going to go on a Fatality spree, you might as well do it in style. Just don’t go ahead and use your parents’ credit card without permission. Debt can be more fatal than Fatalities.
