A cute leaf from a cuter Pal.

In Palworld, the Gumoss Leaf is a useful item needed to make certain clothing items. It isn’t exactly a rarity, but only if you know where to look.

Where to find Gumosses in Palworld

The Gumoss Leaf is an item dropped by the Gumoss Pal, a cute ground and leaf-type Pal. They aren’t exactly powerful, which is useful if you want a whole bunch of their leaves.

To find a Gumoss, have a look at the map below, which details everywhere they spawn.

As you can see, these little creatures really get around! They like to travel in small groups, usually in pairs. Also, they typically spawn in at a really low level, too, so you can easily take them out or capture them. As they are delicate creatures, you’ll want to have low-powered weaponry if you want to capture them. If you’re pretty strong, then using fists will do.

Best way to get Gumoss Leaf in Palworld

As the only way to get a Gumoss Leaf in Palworld is by defeating or capturing a Gumoss, all you can do is go on a killing (or capturing) spree. You shouldn’t need loads at a time, so use a Great Eagle Statue to fast travel to one of the above areas and really go to town.

They will fight back, but you have nothing to worry about. I would recommend capturing them until you have 10, as you’ll gain an EXP bonus on the first 10 Pals of any type you collect. This EXP bonus will go a long way!

With the Gumoss Leaves in hand, you can use them to craft clothes.

How to get the Gumoss Cap in Palworld

If you want to represent one of the cutest Pals out there, the Gumoss cap is what you’ll want. It doesn’t offer much protection, but it’s rather stylish.

You can’t unlock the Gumoss Cap like you can with most other equipment, so to be able to craft it, you need the Gumoss Cap Schematic.

This can be bought from any traveling merchant, or any merchant in general, if they have it in stock. I bought mine from the merchant in the Small Settlement.

It cost me 500 gold, which is honestly nothing. Once bought, it’ll cost only five Gumoss Leaves to craft. Enjoy!
