Getting into Legacy Fortress requires you to have the Legacy Fortress Keycard. The process of getting a Legacy Fortress Keycard in MWZ is to raid a Mercenary Camp, get a Mercenary Stronghold Keycard, raid a Mercenary Stronghold, and get the Legacy Fortress Keycard. That means our first step is to attack a Mercenary Camp and loot the cache to get a Mercenary Stronghold Keycard.

Once you have a Mercenary Stronghold Keycard, you need to raid a Mercenary Stronghold which is easier said than done. The riot shield mercenaries always get me which is why I always bring a Drill Charge because it’s the perfect way to dispatch them. Also, I recommend bringing a squad not only for the Mercenary Stronghold, but for the Legacy Fortress as well. If you think the Mercenary Fortress is hard, then you’re not prepared for Legacy Fortress.

After cracking the vault and getting the 3-Plate Armor Vest and Legacy Fortress Keycard from the Mercenary Stronghold, you need to make your way over to Legacy Fortress. The exact location is found on the map above; it’s situated between Levin Resort and Popov Power.

When trying to break into Legacy Fortress, you’ll encounter an attack helicopter, tons of armored enemy soldiers, and assassin enemies that are extremely annoying. Again, I highly recommend you proceed forward with a squad.

The first thing you’ll want to do is clear out the majority of the enemies around the outside. Once that is done, if you’re careful, you can ignore the attack helicopter and use the Legacy Fortress Keycard to open the door to the building in the middle.

I don’t recommend rushing in because there are enemies everywhere. However, don’t confuse them for the decoys — if you shoot these illusion enemies, you’ll get blinded. Find a nice place to camp out and eliminate all the enemies that come for you.

Once you charge into Legacy Fortress, reinforcement enemies will arrive. Make sure you’re watching your back so you don’t get taken out by the assassin enemies. Keep pushing forward and you’ll find Legacy, the boss of this area, in the top room in the back.

Legacy is a tough boss to take down, but once you put enough bullets into him, he’ll drop. When the coast is clear, open the door to the room on the right. Here, you’ll see a Reward Cache. Search it to find the Tactical Navigator.

Tactical Navigator is one of my favorite weapons in Modern Warfare Zombies. It’s great to use against zombies because it’s a Weapon Blueprint of Haymaker, the Shotgun, that transforms the weapon from semi-automatic to automatic, includes a lot more bullets per trigger pull, and always hits with incendiary rounds.

If you successfully exfil with Tactical Navigator, you get to keep it as a Contraband Weapon (unlike the Wonder Weapons). As long as you don’t lose it by dying or dropping it in the field, you can keep Tactical Navigator for a long time. And if you lose it, you can use this guide to get it again.
