A room with a view.

Starfield lets you explore planets across the galaxy. You’ll see a lot of desolate beauty and starships. That’s exciting, but sometimes it’s nice to get away from the stresses of an explorer’s life. A peaceful abode is no small thing. Here is our guide telling you how to get the Neon City Penthouse in Starfield.

Starfield – how to get Neon City Penthouse

There are a variety of homes available to purchase across the various planets. For instance, you can buy a house in Akila City. Or even two of them, if you prefer. You have multiple options in Neon Core, as well. To get the Neon City Penthouse, purchase it from the bartender in the Astral Lounge.

Look for Neon Core in the Volii system. It is located on the planet Volii Alpha. You will find the planet and the system to the lower right from the Alpha Centauri system, in case you haven’t already.

In Neon Core, visit the Astral Lounge. Neon Core is a densely populated city with a variety of issues. It’s also one of my favorite places in the galaxy. My character even started with the Neon City Street Rat trait. At the far end of the main street where you arrive from the Spaceport, you’ll find the Trade Tower. Head inside and make your way to the back left to find the entrance to the Astral Lounge. Once in that club, head to the back side to meet with Boone Morgan, who stands behind the bar. Talk to him about Aurora briefly, and then a menu option lets you ask about a penthouse.

Buy the penthouse from Boone Morgan. Its cost for me was 235,000 credits. Your price may be lower or higher, depending on what skills you have activated. Once you purchase the suite, reach it by riding the elevator from the Trade Tower lobby, located ahead and to the right of the entrance to the Astral Lounge. The elevator takes you to the top floor of the tower to explore your new digs. They’re not actually all that impressive, but it’s nice to have one more place to call your own.

Starfield is available to purchase on Steam and the Microsoft Store.
