In Modern Warfare Zombies, you need to have a lot of protection to fight off the horde of zombies. Luckily, there’s a ton of weapons and gear throughout the maps that will help. The iconic Ray Gun is one of the most important. We’re going to show how to get its schematic in Modern Warfare Zombies (MWZ).
Modern Warfare Zombies (MWZ): How to get Ray Gun schematic
One way to get the schematic for the Ray Gun you’ll need to get a bounty in the Tier 3 Region. This area is hard, and zombies won’t go down without a fight. Make sure you’re geared up and maybe try to find Napalm Burst or Brian Rot ammo mods. The bounty you want requires you to fight a Mega Abomination. Now, it’s important to note that bounty will appear in the Tier 3 Region (you can use the map to guide you), but won’t all the time be the Mega Abomination. If that’s the case exfil out, and try again.
When the Mega Abomination appears, get ready for a tough fight. So before you go into it, make sure you have gear that can do a bunch of damage. While the battle will be hard, he seems to have a few spots that can hurt him. Aim for his head and chest, but make sure you’re keeping a safe distance. If you have anything that does AoE damage like Molotov Cocktails, use them. The lasting effect does damage him quite a bit. Once you beat the boss, you can collect the schematic to craft — if it drops. Just make sure you exfil without dying. Note: if it doesn’t drop, look around for mystery boxes or Acquisition Stashes. It should appear it either drops.

Crafting the Ray Gun
Assuming you made it alive, head to your Gear section in the loadout. In your Rucksack, locate the schematic. It should be sorted by type, the Ray Gun is a Wonder Weapon and will have its tab. Select the tab and press craft. In general, you might be always crafting Wonder Weapons, as they need schematics beforehand.
