Where to find Rough Amber in LEGO Fortnite
As LEGO Fortnite worlds are all different, I can’t show you an exact location on the map. You should reliably find Rough Amber in the Dry Valley / Desert biome. I have a vast Dry Valley area a short walk north of my starting area in the Grasslands, but your mileage will likely vary.
The Dry Valley is far more dangerous than the Grasslands, with nasty enemies that hit much harder than you’re used to. If that wasn’t bad enough, the Dry Valley can get so hot that it slowly chips away at your health. You can counter the heat with something like Snowberry Juice from a Juicer, although this will only work if you’ve got Snow Berries.

I find the heat damage isn’t too bad as long as you bring a generous food supply. On top of that, I recommend at least a Longsword as a weapon; otherwise, the enemies are a real pain.
Rough Amber is easy to see from a distance, as it’s bright yellow, but it’s always up high on my map. If this is the case for you, I recommend bringing a stack of wood. You can use wood to build staircases quickly if needed. My go-to is the Rustic Stair 02, as it’s cheap and easy to use, but pick whatever you prefer.
How to mine Rough Amber
Rough Amber must be mined with an upgraded Pickaxe, as the regular one just bounces off. It takes a few hits, even with an uncommon Pickaxe, but you’ll quickly amass a decent amount of the material.
