To find the Override Pin in Remnant 2, players must make it to the Timeless Horizon area of N’Erud. If your world hasn’t spawned with this location, continue rerolling N’Erud in Adventure Mode until it does.

Once you make it to Timeless Horizon, you can find the Override Pin in one of the unnamed towers scattered across the area. Below is an image of the exact location where I found the Override Pin in Remnant 2.

You’ll know you’re at the right spot when you discover a tower with an elevator. Take the elevator until you reach the middle floor, and head to the location where the red arrow is pointing in the image. The Override Pin is the only item at this location with an orange glow to it.

How to use the Override Pin in Remnant 2

Players can use the Override Pin in two ways. First, the Override Pin can be used on the terminal before entering the fight with the Sha’Hala: Spectral Guardian (main boss) in N’Erud. Using the pin before fighting the main boss of the area will reward the player with the Void Cinder, which can be used to craft the Aphelion Long Gun.

Additionally, players can use the Override Pin on the Nightweaver’s Web. The Nightweaver’s Web can be found in the Morrow Sanatorium of Morrow Parish in the Losomn biome. Using the Override Pin on the Nightweaver’s Web will reward the player with the Tormented Heart Relic.

Here are all the stats and effects of the Tormented Heart in Remnant 2:

  • 20% use speed bonus.
  • Deals 240 explosive damage to enemies within 10m.
  • Lifesteals 25% of damage dealt.

It’s important to remember that you can only use the Override Pin once per campaign playthrough, so you must decide whether you want the Tormented Heart or the Aphelion Long Gun. I recommend going with the Tormented Heart as the benefits outweigh the damage output of the Aphelion.

Remember, you can always reroll N’Erud in Adventure Mode and get the Override Pin again to get the other item you skipped the first time.
