Targeted and firing.

Armored Core 6 is a game that has many different systems, cosmetics, and weapons for you to interact with, it’s the dream mech customization series. I’m personally running a mech with dual pistols and quick movement, and it’s an absolutely great time so far. The systems in Armored Core 6 mean you can build essentially any mech that you want to create, including many from various different shows and movies you might want to make. This is in part thanks to the diverse weapons pool you’re given access to, such as pistols, bazookas, machine guns, and even melee options to supplement those ranged attacks. One of the weapons you can get access to is missile launchers, and they come installed on your mech from the start. These are great for dealing major damage and even hitting multiple targets. Here’s our guide on how to multi-lock missiles in Armored Core 6.

To multi-lock missiles in Armored Core 6, the first step is to have multiple enemies on screen and targetable at once. Once you have a few enemies on screen, you will need to hold down the missile firing button, the right shoulder button on controller for me, and the yellow bar on the reticle surrounding an enemy will begin to fill, and once full it’ll show reticles over multiple enemies, then release this button and you can fire missiles at multiple enemies.

Using multi-lock missiles in Armored Core 6 is an extremely vital strategy for coping with a lot of enemies, as you can become overwhelmed incredibly fast. The amount of enemies you can fire missiles at depends on the amount of missiles that your launcher fires, for example, the missile launcher you start with fires four missiles, meaning you can hit up to four different enemies with them. The description for your missile launcher will also tell you if you can multi-lock or not.

I personally use multi-lock missiles whenever I can, and as a way to keep the pressure up as I fire my dual pistols at enemies for some quick damage and trying to stagger the enemy. Mess around with the missile launchers and multi-lock missiles to see which strategies work best for you.
