Baldur’s Gate 3 let’s you recruit a ton of party members into your ragtag gang of adventurous. But one particularly member is someone that fans of the classic Baldur’s Gate games will want on their side. Here’s how to recruit Jaheira into your party in Baldur’s Gate 3.
Baldur’s Gate 3: Where to find Jaheira
Jaheira is found during Act 2 in the Shadow-Cursed Lands. If you decided to head to this area via the Underdark, then you’ll eventually get taken to meet Jaheira as part of the main story questline at the Last Light Inn in Baldur’s Gate 3. However, if you decide to head here through the Mountain Pass, you’ll need to find the Last Light Inn yourself.
Either way, heading over to the Last Light Inn will get your first run in with Jaheira. You will not be able to recruit her at this point though. Instead, you need to work with Jaheira until the assault on the Moonrise Towers. Be warned, if you take the evil route and attack the Last Light Inn, you will not be able to recruit Jaheria for obvious reasons. So do the right thing and try not to cause the death of an entire village.
How to recruit Jaheira
Once you’ve reached the Assault on the Moonrise Towers, you’ll be able to temporarily get Jaheira to join your party in Baldur’s Gate 3. You’ll need to convince her to join your team, otherwise, she’ll lead the harpers and act as her own NPC. Don’t worry if you can’t get her to join you here since this doesn’t matter too much.
After you’ve defeated Ketheric Thorm for the first time on top of the Moonrise Towers, you can find Jaheria up there with you. And if you interact with her you’ll get the chance to say ‘Face Ketheric with me.’ This choice will cause Jaheira to join your party for real this time. Plus she will become a permanent party member from this point onwards. And that’s how you get Jaheira to join your party in Baldur’s Gate 3.
