How to unlock and use Bunker Buster Killstreak in Warzone

Roofs are overrated.

Opponents lurking in corners with SMGs have a massive advantage when you enter a building in Warzone. Fortunately, Season 2 Reloaded allows players to deal with pesky campers. Here’s how to unlock and use the Bunker Buster Killstreak in Warzone.

What is the Bunker Buster Killstreak in Warzone?

The Bunker Buster Killstreak is a potent tool for countering players hiding in buildings. It can be called in similar to an Airstrike by targeting a location with binoculars. The Bunker Buster doesn’t destroy buildings, but it does fill them with damaging gas. While I’ve read rumors to the contrary, the Bunker Buster is exclusive to the Fortunes Keep map and isn’t useable in Modern Warfare 3 Multiplayer.

The Bunker Buster Killstreak can be purchased from Buy Zones for $4000. Once you have the Killstreak, you can call it in by selecting it from your inventory. When you activate the Bunker Buster, you can designate its location with binoculars, and it takes roughly 8 seconds to land.

Like most Killstreaks in Warzone, the Bunker Buster is designed to make enemies flee rather than kill them outright. Since your opponents have ample time to react, I recommend watching the doors and windows of the targeted building. As your opponent will be focused on escaping the Bunker Buster, you should have the advantage in a fight.

Is the Bunker Buster good in Warzone?

I’ve not thoroughly tested the Bunker Buster, but it seems like a strong Killstreak and well worth the $4000. Buildings are usually a haven to recover from a losing battle as they block Airstrikes and Mortars. The Bunker Buster is a great way to apply pressure to teams indoors and can put your opponents in awful positions while you wait outside.

Time will tell if the Bunker Buster becomes a ‘meta’ item in Warzone, but it already seems strong if a little inconsistent. Season 2 has brought updates to multiplayer and Warzone and even added easter eggs to Zombies. With so much new content, it’s worth checking out every mode, even if you don’t usually play them.
