I love Fortnite’s mini-games within the battle royale. You don’t just have to fight other players or NPCs, you can do a whole bunch of things that make Fortnite as whole fun and exciting, like finding a shopping cart. One of the things to unlock in Fortnite is a vault located in Lavish Lair. Follow along if you want to know how to unlock it

But you need to know where the Lavish Lair is first. Thankfully it’s easy to find. If you’re dropping in, make your way to the northern part of the map. If you’re already down, still head north. Use the map below to get your bearings right.
If you drop into this spot at the start of the match, be aware that this Lavish Lair is a POI. This means, there can be a ton of high-level goodies. And you know what happens when an area has good equipment? More players will descend upon it. So make sure you’re fast and quick before attempting to open the vault.

Even if there are no players around, you’ll still have to deal with many NPCs guarding the place. Make sure you dispatch all of them because one of the NPCs holds a medallion you’ll need to enter the vault.
Opening the vault
Be careful here, when you pick up the medallion, your location gets highlighted. So be prepared to get swarmed. Once you have the medallion, head to the south side of the lair, and jump off the balcony. You should see a hallway with the vault at the end of it. As you enter the hallway, to the right of the vault there will be a lock to interact with if you have the medallion. After that, the door is open and you have access to some pretty strong gear.
Just don’t die soon after.
