Back in Season 5 of Warzone in 2020, players were introduced to vertical ziplines. These ziplines help players quickly ascend large buildings and structures to get a better vantage point. Horizontal ziplines, on the other hand, are better used aggressively when actively fighting enemy combatants. To use horizontal ziplines, simply press “F” on M/KB, “X” on Xbox, or “Square” on PlayStation.

Horizontal ziplines are found around the new Warzone map Urzikstan. These ziplines connect the roofs of tall buildings. As stated previously, you’ll want to go ahead and use these ziplines a bit more aggressively than vertical ones. However, you still must be cautious, as these ziplines fully expose you to anyone below or in front of you. So make sure you have a good grasp of your surroundings before attempting to catch a ride.

For example, if you spot someone on a roof next to you in a squad and down them, zipline across immediately if you don’t see any of their teammates. While the enemy’s teammates are busy trying to reach the top of the building through other means, you and your squad will have already dispatched their teammate, looted them, and prepared for the stragglers. And much like other ziplines, you can jump off at any time if you’re getting shot at making for a perfect escape. Use these techniques to the best of your abilities, and you’ll have no trouble using horizontal ziplines to your advantage.
