I’m not expecting a hit, girl: Kick-Ass 2 announced

What’s wrong with your faaaaaaaaace

Oh dear. It’s been awhile since I’ve seen a game of the movie, but here we are again: Freedom Factory Studios and UIG Entertainment are developing Kick-Ass 2.

For the uninitiated, Freedom Factory are the team behind games like Young Justice: Legacy, Cycling Evolution, and NYC Taxi Simulator, while UIG Entertainment have published about ten million games with “Simulator” in the title. Like Bungee Jumping Simulator, Agricultural Simulator 2011, and Woodcutter Simulator 2013. So… yeah, my hopes aren’t exactly high.

Obviously, you’d think that this would mean Kick-Ass 2 should be titled Amateur Superhero Simulator 2013, which… actually sounds kind of great. But no: it’s an action-adventure/beat-’em-up that lets you play as Kick-Ass or Hit-Girl as you beat up lots of people. This is pretty much all I know, right now.

Screenshots are below, and the game is due out in November. Yes, this November. Next month. My hopes are not high, particularly after seeing those screenshots.
