LEGO Fortnite x Ninjago crossover, explained

For those who don’t know, LEGO Ninjago is a LEGO TV show that coincides with LEGO figurines and sets all about teenage ninjas who battle evil. I’m just old enough that I missed the Ninjago train, but it’s a beloved show about ninjas which I can totally get behind.

There is a lot of hype about a LEGO Ninjago x LEGO Fortnite collab coming very soon, and we have one very strong piece of evidence that proves this rumor true. iFireMonkey on Twitter (or X), a Fortnite content creator who is a credible leaker, discovered via data mining that there are a lot of Ninjago files in LEGO Fortnite.

In the past, we’ve seen leakers successfully data mine info in the Fortnite files to fill us in on upcoming collaborations. There’s no reason to believe that this Ninjago case is any different. However, upon further inspection, the wait for the Ninjago collab might be a bit longer than you’d think.

As HYPEX on Twitter (or X) pointed out, the LEGO Fortnite mode will have a Ninjago Dojo POI which matches what we see in the leaked files. It’s possible that the LEGO Fortnite x Ninjago crossover won’t happen immediately because it seems like all the Ninjago files point to a Dojo POI in the LEGO Fortnite game mode and not skins.

That said, if we don’t immediately get LEGO Fortnite Ninjago skins, we eventually will considering the high likelihood of the Ninjago Dojo POI in LEGO Fortnite. We’re very excited to play the game mode and learn more about LEGO Fortnite Ninjago.
