Blizzard are set to unleash an achievement system that will spread right accross their core product line it has been revealed today.Talking to MTV, Blizzard’s President Mike Morhaime has revealed that Blizzard will introduce a new ‘Blizzard Level’ which can best be compared to the Xbox Gamerscore. Blizzard gamers will eventually have an account that shows their achievements from other Blizzard games they’ve played.Accroding the Blizzard’s President Mike Morhaime, Blizzard’s new account system is “right on the horizon” and players will be able to migrate their World of Warcraft achivements over to the new account system and receive a ‘Blizzard Level’.“Your ‘WoW’ score would be just one factor that will go into yourBlizzard Level. And rather than call it a ’score,’ we just wanted it to be like you’re leveling up on Blizzard games… You’ll have this Blizzard identity, and you’ll be able to see things like ‘Oh, this guy was great at Diablo III, but he never played Starcraft and he was mediocre inWoW. That sort of thing.”Achievements are being added in the Wrath of the Lich King expansion and this can be considered the first step toward the new ‘Blizzard Level’.Thanks Diii.net
