Turbine has announced that the next patch for its MMO, Lord of the Rings Online, is scheduled for release sometime next week.

The exact date of the patch will be announced “as soon as the schedule is firm”. The relatively small update, Book 7 Patch 2, features the new Quest Guide system, which is now finally out of beta. Players will find the system is turned on by default, but it can be toggled off in the options panel in UI settings.
Players will be glad to see that the Strange Happenings raid is up and running again, and a number of changes have been made to the resource instances. “Kill Boss” quests have also been altered, including a one hour failure timer being applied
