The Wii will soon have software that will let users stream media files from their PC. The software will enable the Wii to act as a hub and everything from movies to music will be accessible.

Called X-OOM Media Centre for Wii, you’ll also be able to browse the internet for digital radio and TV channels, check RSS feeds and stream online media.

All you’ll need to do is install some PC software to enable the File Wizard which will let you add whatever you have on your hard drives, internal or otherwise.

Pretty cool stuff…but what if you have a Mac?
