Modern Warfare 2 Loses Call Of Duty Moniker, Finds Date

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has dropped the “Call of Duty” part of its title.Gamecenteronline asked Activision why, and was told “Modern Warfare has taken on such a life of its own, it has become our focus now.” Apparently, it’s “too early to release additional details.”Bizarre. On the upside, Modern Warfare 2, as it is now known, has also been dated for 10 November 2009.
