A Quartermaster system will be introduced to the game, allowing players to purchase items with tokens obtained from killing other player’s characters. These tokens come in the form of medallions and crests which have different ranks depending on their origin, for example a Recruit’s Medallion will be obtained from a Tier 1 kill, a Scout’s Medallion for Tier 2 and so on. Every kill has a good chance for a medallion to drop, but crests are awarded less frequently and from very specific events.

The purpose of this new system is outlined by Mythic:Incentive RvR performance and participation Further expansion of RvR rewards, including specific “Disposable” or “Renewable” items that help RvR performanceAward all players that participate in various RvR activities regardless of contribution or luckProvide players with an alternative path to gaining items that gate later contentHelp offset “Bad Luck”, allowing players to obtain items they may not have gotten out of PQ’s due to unlucky rolls.
