This weekend the Steam concurrent user record was once again broken with 15.3 million PC gamers all enjoying their gaming on Steam on the afternoon of Sunday 17 September.

That’s not the only record to be broken on Steam this weekend, the other involves a certain PlayerUknown’s Battlegrounds. PUBG has now smashed DOTA 2’s concurrent user record with 1.3 million players which beats DOTA 2′s record of 1,2 million. This weekend has also been the biggest weekend for Blue Hole’s battle royale title beating the 1.1 million it managed two weeks ago.

With the weather starting to turn in many places with the arrival of autumn, these numbers are likely to increase as the weeks roll on.
