New World Launch

The delays are done. The New World servers are live all around the globe. Amazon Games has marked the release of its first MMORPG with a brand-new New World launch trailer. You can check it out below to get a taste of what awaits you in Aeternum. It looks like one hell of a battle against the island itself.

The New World launch trailer gives you a cinematic look at various elements of the game. It also reassures you that the game is good by quoting numerous notable influencers. If you don’t need any more convincing, you can purchase New World for PC through Steam.

You may need to wait to try New World for yourself, however, because the servers are backed up with players flooding into the game. If you manage to get in, you may also experience some server issues. The New World team has already acknowledged the issues through a Twitter post and promised that they are working to solve them.

The journey begins

If you haven’t picked a server to play on yet you can check out the most up-to-date list of servers here. It includes recommendations for servers that will use languages other than English. There’s nothing about role-playing or PvP focused servers. You’ll need to see where the chips, and bodies, fall over the next few days to find that out.

You can also earn some stylish skins for your New World character through Twitch right now. The Vinespun weapon skins can be earned by watching one of the 66 streamers that took part in the Battle for New World event. You can earn them by watching the streamers for the first two weeks after the New World launch.

New World Twitch Drops

If you’re an Amazon Prime subscriber with Prime Gaming, you’re in for a serious treat. This is an Amazon-made MMO after all. From September 28 until November 1, you can claim the Pirate Pack. It includes an exclusive pirate character skin, a pirate-stance emote, and 5,000 Marks of Fortune. And it sounds like a lot more rewards are on the way for Prime Gaming members.
