No Chow Yun-Fat In Stranglehold Movie

Chow Yun-Fat may not be appearing in the forthcoming Stranglehold movie.We previously reported that Stranglehold was becoming a movie, and then that neither John Woo nor the game’s plot would be involved, and now it also appears that Chow Yun-Fat isn’t going to be reprising the role of Inspector Tequila.Film site Twitch (thanks, Kotaku) spoke to John Woo’s usual producer, Terence Chang, who stated that “It is a total reinvention, with a much younger Tequila. In other words, it is not a sequel to Hard-Boiled.”If the film features a much younger Tequila, we can’t see how Chow Yun-Fat could reprise the role. Shame.
