Watching the PC features video for Outriders that came out today felt a little refreshing. I recently purchased an RTX card for all that delicious ray tracing and 1440p goodness. After watching my rig chug with a recent December release I don’t feel like naming because I’m getting burnt out on talking about it, I’m happy to see how breezy Outriders‘ PC requirements are. A video released today by Square Enix and People Can Fly dives deep into the game’s options. It highlights the many features, such as DLSS and UI, while also showing off most of its requirements.
Square Enix clearly waited on published this video until DLSS was confirmed for Outriders. A couple of days ago, Nvidia broke the news that the upcoming shooter will have Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS) right at launch. Outriders will also have ray tracing support on day one, but that’s only one of many graphical options.
The video shows off all the different knobs and buttons you can use to change up the look of the game. Outriders will include UI customization, as well as support for UI customization and 13 languages. The video also gives you a glance at how the game will look under various settings, such as 720p, 1080p, and 4K Ultra. It goes through a lot of different display options, so you’ll know what to expect by the time the game launches. I would love to link this video so you can watch it below, but sadly it’s age-gated and won’t show up. Here’s a direct link instead.
Outriders PC requirements
Now, we move on to the reason we’re all here: the Outriders PC requirements. And as I’ve mentioned, the game is anything but demanding.

- OS:Â Windows 10
- CPU:Â Intel i5-3470 / AMD FX-8350
- Memory:Â 8 GB
- GPU:Â Nvidia GeForce GTX 750Ti / AMD Radeon R9 270x
- DirectX:Â DirectX 11
- Storage:Â 70 GB
Recommended – High Preset (1080p/60 fps)
- OS:Â Windows 10
- CPU:Â Intel ii7-7700 / AMD Ryzen 5 1600

The only one that hasn’t been fully fleshed out is the Ultra requirement, set at 2160p and 60 fps. All we know at this point is that it requires 16 GB of RAM, DirectX 12, and the same storage space. We’ll likely get info on that one later, before Outriders launches on April 21 on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
