It's electrifyin'!

Just like Pokémon, Pals have different element types. If you’re attempting to fight an Electric Pal or want to summon one, let’s go over Electric element strengths and weaknesses in Palworld.

While you may find it obvious what strengths or weaknesses Electric types may have, some things about them may surprise you.

Electric element strengths and weaknesses in Palworld

If you have a Pal like Jolthog or Grizzbolt, you should soon find out what they’re weak to for combat encounters. This can also come in handy if you’re about to face the Electric-type boss Zoe and Grizzbolt in Rayne Syndicate Tower.

As you may have guessed, Electric-type Pals are strong against Water types. This means that when you’re fighting Grizzbolt at the tower, don’t summon any Water Pals, or else you’re at a disadvantage. In the same boat, when fighting a Water Pal like Gobfin or Pengullet, it’s best to use any Electric Pal you have.

Electric Pals are weak to Ground-type Pals. These can be Pals such as Gumoss or Digtoise. If you want to win a fight against a Ground Pal, don’t bring out any Electric Pals. But when fighting an Electric Pal like the Grizzbolt boss, you should have a few Ground-type Pals. They won’t sustain as much damage from attacks from Electric types.

That’s all the strengths and weaknesses available to Electric types you have to worry about! They’re easy to remember since water and electricity can create devastating results, but electricity can’t affect the earth.

If you’re looking for some good early-game Electric Pals, I recommend Sparkit, as it’s only number six in your Paldeck. In the first opening areas, I couldn’t find many Electric types, though, so it may take you a few hours until you spot one.
