SCE has just confirmed that they have sold 7 million PS4 units worldwide since April 6 of this year.

Along with this, Sony has sold 20.5 million games, digital and retail combined since April 4.
This seems like a drop in the bucket compared to the huge financial loss they are scheduled to report to stockholders next month, but that is a problem for Hirai and Sony’s brass higher up. We don’t want to take anything away from the people at SCE, so congratulations to everyone there, and we look forward to hearing more from them about the PS4.
