One more batch of content is coming to Borderlands 2.
Gearbox has announced that players can now search for new Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel-themed skins for their characters in the game. These are available on the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC versions.
Six unique heads and skins are available, one for each Borderlands 2 character. The skins allow characters to dress up as those that will be featured from the Pre-Sequel. According to Gearbox, all these are available as extremely rare loot drops.
For those who don’t have the time to farm enemies or just can’t wait, players may keep an eye on Randy Pitchford’s Twitter feed as he will be posting SHiFT codes that can be used to unlock the skins on the following dates:
-7/18: Axton as Athena
-7/25: Salvador as Wilhelm
-8/1: Maya as Nisha
-8/8: Zer0 as Claptrap
-8/15: Gaige as Moon Moxxi
-8/22: Krieg as a Scav
Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel releases on October 14 in North America and October 17 worldwide.
