One of the Atelier franchise’s most beloved trilogies, the Atelier Dusk Trilogy, is getting a Deluxe Pack on January 14, 2020. Players will be able to return to the mysterious world of Dusk, but now they can enjoy higher-resolution graphics and smoother gameplay.
You will be able to purchase the three games from the trilogy separately or in the specially priced pack. The Atelier Dusk Trilogy Deluxe Pack will also include a range of special elements from the Dusk series, including DLCs with extra costumes, accessories, additional monsters, and the ability for additional characters to take part in battles.
Atelier Ayesha: The Alchemist of Dusk DX
In the first game of the series, you play Ayesha, a young herbalist from a deteriorating continent that once prospered thanks to the powers of alchemy. In an attempt to bring back your missing sister, you set out to unlock the secrets of alchemy. The actions you take along your journey matter and there are a variety of endings based on your choices.
Atelier Escha & Logy: Alchemists of the Dusk Sky DX
The second game in the Atelier Dusk Trilogy sees old and new coming together in the form of Escha and Logy. Escha is an alchemist focused on the ancient arts, while Logy studies contemporary alchemy. The two characters work side by side in the Development Department, and together they begin to unlock the mysteries of Dusk. The game allows you to choose which of the two characters you want to be the main protagonist, allowing you to enjoy the story from different perspectives.
Atelier Shallie: Alchemists of the Dusk Sea DX
In the third and final chapter of the trilogy, players will once again be able to choose between two main characters, Shallistera and Shallotte. As the two friends set out to unlock the secrets of Dusk, they will realize that their motivations are very different. Shallistera has a mission she must complete, while Shallotte has a hidden ambition. As you play through the game you will need to complete Life Tasks in order to advance the story. The Life Tasks will change depending on your play style, meaning the journey will play out however you wish.
Atelier Dusk Trilogy Deluxe Pack will be available for PC, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 4 come January.
