If traditional, spherical objects are feeling a bit passé this Christmas, Rocket League is here to help. The game has just added a puck-based ‘Hockey Mode’, complete with all-new physics for you to master hilariously bungle.

Hockey should appear as a separate ‘Snow Day’ option in the usual playlists. Judging by the image up there, a couple of the new Rocket League holiday items are a gift-dongle and some fetching antlers. Delightful.
Seems like they’ll be around until 4 January, so try to fit in a couple of games over the festive period if you want to adorn your ride with any of those.
