The Sims 4 coming autumn 2014

The Sims 4 - 04

Recommended Videos

The Sims 4 was revealed to the world a few months ago, with the promise that it would be out in 2014. Sadly, 2014’s a pretty big place, so that wasn’t much use. Thankfully, EA and Maxis have now announced that it’ll be coming in autumn 2014, which is a much smaller place! Aaaand that’s basically the entire news story.

The Sims 4 is the latest in the long line of games that let you improve the lives of/torture little computer people, with the big twist this time around being the addition of emotional states. Sim and house creation have both had a big upgrade, too, making it much easier to build both horrible monsters that should not exist and lovely mansions in which they can live. You can read up on all that gubbins and watch some videos over here.

You can pre-order it over on the official site now for a free upgrade to the Limited Edition, which will net you the Life of the Party DLC, or you can opt for the Digital Deluxe edition that also includes the All Night bonus content, as well as – presumably – some more stuff that’s yet to be announced. These will cost you hahaha £45 and £55 respectively hahahaha.

Expect The Sims 4 sometime between August and October, I guess.
