Spy Academy is the third mission in Sniper Elite 5‘s campaign. You’ll start out on a beachhead with only a handful of guards. But, your main goal is to reach the gargantuan fortress in the middle of an island. Still, you might want to eliminate a particular target for a weapon unlock and extra XP. Sniper Elite 5 – Spy Academy Kill List guide (Mission 3 – Fabian Richter)
Fabian Richter, your Spy Academy Kill List target in Sniper Elite 5, can be found in the inner cloister at the top of the main tower. The challenge requires you to do a stealth takedown, which means you need to be in melee range.
This level has numerous winding streets and buildings, and you’re bound to have a long trek before you get to the main objective. As such, you could roam around for some collectibles and Workbenches in the meantime.
Eventually, though, you’ll reach the fortress’ tower. There, you can take out the officer who’s guarding the area to pick up the Meeting Room Key.
Note: The moment the door opens, Richter will start to leave. Before you chase him, make sure you climb the ladder first to pick up a couple of satchel charges. These will be useful if you need to enter other rooms or passages as you explore.
In any case, go ahead and follow your target. He and his bodyguard will basically walk down the paths and staircases that you used to get to the top floor of the tower. Likewise, there’s a chance that they’d stop in case they see dead bodies that you’ve left behind.
What’s important is that you get close enough to do a melee assassination (i.e., press the “E” key). This will complete the Fabian Richter Spy Academy Kill List task in Sniper Elite 5. You’ll receive the P08 for your efforts.
