I’m not sure aiming at the THICK METAL SAFE WHICH IS RESISTANT TO PEOPLE TRYING TO BREAK IN is really going to do the damage here, Sebastian.

The Evil Within is now out (The Evil With-out?), and there’s a launch trailer to celebrate.

The Evil Within is a Shinji Mikami-led survival horror title which casts you as Sebastian Castellanos, a detective caught up in a rather gruesome mystery… which rapidly gives way to monsters and zombies and all sorts of other horrors that want to smash him into a sticky red paste. From the sounds of it, there’s a hefty emphasis on stealth, ammo management, and not getting murdered.

Our review code for The Evil Within only arrived today, so unfortunately we’ve yet to actually play it. With a bit of luck we’ll have some PC port impressions later on tonight, so if you’re wondering how it holds up on the Best Platform, stay tuned for that.

If you don’t fancy waiting for our opinions, then you might want to know how to unlock the framerate cap and possibly do a bit of cheating. Luckily, Bethesda revealed how to do exactly that, last night.

The launch trailer is below.
