Ubisoft Giving Out Review Copies For The Crew On Day Of Release

Ubisoft is not repeating the review embargo they had for Assassin’s Creed: Unity for The Crew. However, their solution won’t please everyone for sure.

They are withholding review copies for the game until the actual day of release. Of course, this means an embargo is a moot point, and reviewers will also be able to include online play in their reviews, but the effect remains; consumers won’t be able to read reviews about the game before release and will have to decide on their own.

You can read Ubisoft’s rationale in their own words here.
