Victor Vran now slaying monsters on Early Access

Haemimont’s ARPG-with-a-twist, Victor Vran, is now on Steam Early Access.

Victor Vran casts you as Victor Vran (surprise!), a demon slayer off to kill a lot of demons. The game’s stated mission is to “put the action back into the action-RPG genre”, which appears to mean the game has a focus on dodging, positioning, and… well, action. I mean, if I remember the announcement correctly, it has a jump button.

Expect the usual plethora of weapons, items, and outfits, alongside demon powers and destiny cards, all of which will let you customise Victor to your liking. Cursed hex items allow you to alter the difficulty, and at some point soon it’ll have full co-op. That’s due in the first major Early Access update, for what it’s worth.

If you want to dive into the Early Access build (containing the first chapter of the game, three bosses, a level cap of 10, and four weapon types – sword, shotgun, hammer, and rapier) you can do so on Steam right now for £11.99, which is 25% off the full price of £15.99.
