The Vive pre-orders went live earlier today and HTC appears to be shifting units quite quickly. Some pre-order customers were receiving an out of stock messages which was apparently incorrect. HTC have loads, you just need to reload the page to get it to work according to HTC.
In a tweet this evening, HTC’s Shen Ye posted an update to tell everyone how fast they were selling.

It appears that that high price is not discouraging everyone but we’ll have to wait and see if they release any more numbers once the pre-order madness has settled down.
