Where to find Gagarin in Starfield

A shopping run.

Starfield allows players to explore over 1,000 planets, moons, and spaceships throughout a galaxy containing dozens of systems. Sometimes, the game’s breadth makes it easy to overlook some very interesting destinations. For every major city like New Atlantis or Neon, there are smaller burgs you might not even notice, including one on the planet Gagarin. Here is our guide telling you where to find Gagarin in Starfield.

Starfield – where to find Gagarin

Starfield spends a lot of time acquainting players with its three major cities, but Gagarin Landing is still an interesting place to visit with a story behind it (sort of like Cydonia on Mars). To find Gagarin, you don’t need to look any further than the Alpha Centauri system.

Gagarin is the planet located near the lower right side of the Alpha Centauri system. It’s easy to overlook (and I did exactly that myself for more than 100 hours of play) because when you go to Alpha Centauri, you’re usually headed for New Atlantis.

Gagarin has several attractions of the usual sort. You can find a Reliant Medical building, a Terrabrew Coffee kiosk, and so forth. However, there are also warehouses and residential buildings. A key place to check is Clint’s Collectibles. It might even be your primary reason for paying a visit.

At Clint’s Collectibles, you can buy the Marathon, an uncommonly good pistol. Clint De Haven, the shop’s owner, also sells the Dragonstar Force Vol 1, an item you need in order to complete the optional Media Sponge quest you may access while visiting the residential parts of Cydonia. Make sure to buy a copy of the book and take it with you to Cydonia. You may also visit Gagarin to complete tasks related to other missions acquired elsewhere in the game, so definitely keep its location in mind.
