Where to find Hateno Village in Tears of the Kingdom (TotK)

Where is it again?

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has a lot of places for you to discover in its vast open world. Whether that’s a new stable for you to board your horses in, a little secret location, a reference to an older Zelda game, or even towns, there’s plenty to find. One of the things you can find that returns from Breath of the Wild is Hateno Village. It’s had a makeover in Tears of the Kingdom, and there’s quite a bit that you can do here in this game. Here’s our guide on where to find Hateno Village in Tears of the Kingdom.

Where to find Hateno Village in Tears of the Kingdom

Hateno Village is on the far east side of Hyrule. I found that you can get to Hateno via one of the two Skyview Towers that you can see around it on the map below, or by simply following that map. You don’t need to do anything to be able to reach Hateno, so just pack your bags and head there whenever you’re ready to visit.

I would say that the easiest way of getting to Hateno Village quickly in Tears of the Kingdom is to fast travel to the Mount Lanayru Skyview Tower and glide and skydive your way over using whatever method suits you the best. This Skyview Tower lies just to the north of Hateno Village. There’s also another Skyview Tower that’s a relatively short distance to Hateno Village in Tears of the Kingdom, and that’s the Rabella Wetlands Skyview Tower. This Skyview Tower is located to the southwest of Hateno Village and is a short enough distance that you could probably make most of the distance by gliding and skydiving.

If you don’t have either of those unlocked, there is another pretty surefire way to get there, and that’s following the road that leads from the Dueling Peaks Stable. By following the road that goes to the east from this stable, you can find yourself at Hateno Village in no time, especially if you’re on horseback. If you’re taking this method, be sure to follow the road that leads to the east and not diverge at all, as that is the road that leads directly to Hateno Village, as you can see in the map above.
