Before you’ve spent too much time with Starfield, you’re likely to find yourself searching for the planet Washakie as you work to clear the “Power from Beyond” mission. Here is our guide telling you where to find Washakie in Starfield.
Starfield – where to find Washakie
The Power from Beyond mission sends you to numerous planets in search of anomalies. However, you may have questions about where to find the planet. To find Washakie, search in the Cheyenne system.
On the Starmap, look for the Cheyenne system to the upper right from Alpha Centauri, where the game begins. The Cheyenne system is one you’ll visit numerous times over the course of your adventure.

Within the Cheyenne system, look just above the burned-out star at the center of the system. You will notice Washakie is a small planet with a single moon, Smet. It contains some intriguing resources, such as Neon and Silver. Its moon has Europium.
Having trouble finding power on Washakie?
When you first encounter Washakie, your visit will likely be part of an attempt to complete the multi-part mission, Power from Beyond. This mission sends you to numerous planets, including Washakie.
Some players run into a bug when exploring Washakie. The relevant mission requires you to talk to Vladimir at numerous points, between your visits to various planets. If you try to acquire the power on Washakie before you have had a required conversation with Vladmir, you may experience issues. Make sure to complete the mission’s components in the order they present themselves, and talk to Vladmir when directed in order to keep going.
One last point to keep in mind: Vladmir moves about during the course of the game. Sometimes, you find him on The Key. Around this stage in my own adventure, I found him in The Lodge. Just set the mission marker and it will lead you to his current location, wherever that might be.
